Activate an Existing Alarm System
GSSC can monitor most existing alarm panels with just a one-time activation fee and a low basic monthly monitoring rate. If your current provider agreement is about to expire, GSSC can accommodate your activation schedule so no gap in coverage is experienced, provided programming codes are provided to us. If programming codes are not provided, GSSC may have to replace the control panel and keypad(s). Our takeover agreement periods are typically one-year to three years but most customers are with us much longer since our monitoring rates are very low. Contact ours Sales Department for details.
System Conversion
GSSC can convert and upgrade older alarm panels that are outdated or noncompatible by utilizing the latest technology offerings which can increase your level of protection, sensor points, and reliability. Alarm systems that use proprietary hardware are also subject to conversion. In many cases we can use the existing sensor points, except smoke detectors, especially if they are old. Unless you have working system, the Control Panel and Keypad(s) may have to change since replacement parts are not available on older systems. Contact our Sales Department for details.
